How a Recorded Tarot Reading Works

A recorded reading is the quieter of the two ways to work with me: no call to schedule, no need to be anywhere at a set time. You send your questions, and I send back a reading made just for you.

If you've been curious how that actually works in practice, here's exactly what happens, from booking to watching your reading.

The idea, in short

Instead of a live conversation, you tell me what you'd like to know, and I sit down with the cards on your behalf. I record a personalised video addressing each of your questions in turn, and send it to you by email, usually within 3 business days.

You watch it in your own time, and you can return to it whenever you like.

Step by step

1. Choose your package. Recorded readings come in three sizes: 5, 7 or 11 questions, priced at AUD $60, $80 or $100. More questions simply means more room, not a different kind of reading.
2. Book and pay. Choose "Recorded Video Reading," then your package. Add your name, email, and anything you'd like me to know beforehand in an optional note. Payment is by card through a secure Stripe checkout, and your booking is confirmed once payment goes through.
3. Submit your questions. After booking, you'll send through your questions so I can begin: as many as your package allows, each its own question rather than several folded into one.
4. I record your reading. I sit with the cards and work through your questions one at a time, giving each its own space rather than rushing to fit them together.
5. Your reading arrives. Delivered by email, normally within 3 business days of me receiving your questions. Every recorded reading includes a written summary at no extra cost, along with a bonus insight where one comes up beyond what you asked.

What makes a good question

Recorded readings work best with questions you can sit with, since there's no back-and-forth to clarify things in the moment. A few ways to get more from yours:

• Be specific rather than broad. "What should I focus on in my career this year?" gives more to work with than "What does my future hold?"
• One idea per question. If you're weighing two different things, that's two questions, not one.
• "What" and "how" tend to open things up more than "will" or "should." "How can I approach this decision?" invites more than "Will this work out?"
• A little context helps. The optional note on the booking form is a good place to add background that shapes how I read your questions.

Is a recorded reading right for you?

It tends to suit you if:

A few practical details

• Delivery: normally within 3 business days of your questions being received.
• Changes of mind: a recorded reading can be fully refunded if you cancel before you submit your questions or before preparation begins. Once preparation or recording is underway, refunds aren't automatically available. Full details are on the FAQ.
• Age requirement: readings are available to people aged 18 and over.
